LEARN HOW TO MAKE
MUSIC YOU LOVE
SEQUENCE ONE MUSIC SCHOOL
At Sequence One, we teach music because we love it, and we think that learning is more important than earning an expensive certificate. Producing music is about creativity, fun, and connecting with other people in the community.
Our preferred tool for making beats is Ableton Live because it opens up a world of creative potential for writing and performing your own music. For many producers, though, the process of learning software can be frustrating.
Sequence One’s classes will help you reach a point where you’re not thinking about the software; you’re creating music, getting the end result you want, and having fun while you’re doing it.
In this video, Certified Ableton trainer Lenny Kiser demonstrates how to use the Push 2 to sample and chop vocals for house music. He’ll show you how to process your bass with the new analog-modeled auto filter, and you’ll learn some tips and tricks for creating buildups and writing chords.
